About Transpack

Transpack was founded in 1993 with an objective of providing innovative packaging solutions. There was a need for ‘see-through’ packaging that would not only highlight the product by making it visible but also protect it from dust and atmospheric gases (prevent oxidation). Rigid PVC was seen as a substitute for the traditional cardboard as it was both transparent and sturdy enough to withstand jolts & jerks during transportation.

Regular (or Hard) Creasing boxes in transparent PVC were developed for the first time in India in our R&D labs in 1993. These boxes offered a low-cost option as compared to the expensive transparent boxes available abroad.

In 2008, Transpack successfully manufactured soft crease boxes using a special heating technique.

Transpack has operations based in Mumbai, India.
